Hotel and restaurant located in Les Collons 1900. It can host more than 30 overnight guests and includes a large terrace and dining room in the restaurant area. The focus on local products allows the restaurant to offer traditional cuisine with a gastronomic flair.
It all started back in the 1960s. Having worked on the construction of the Grande-Dixence dam, Remy Bovier was one of the first landowners in Thyon. He transformed his construction site offices into a small bar, dubbed "Les Gentianes". This marked the beginning of a great adventure for the Bovier family, with son Gerry growing up among the tables in his father's little restaurant, frequented first by local workers and then by tourists.
Over the years, the success of the bar allowed the Boviers to set their sights higher and build La Cambuse, a hotel and restaurant with 12 rooms and an 18-person dormitory.
His retired father, Jerry Bovier, has now taken over the management of the establishment alongside his son, Dylan.
