END OF COVID CERTIFICATE AND MASKS (SEE BELOW)
As of Thursday, February 17, 2022:
- Access to stores, restaurants, cultural institutions, facilities open to the public, and events is once again possible without a mask or certificate.
- Mandatory masking and the recommendation to telecommute are also repealed.
At its meeting on 16 February 2022, the Federal Council lifted the majority of the national measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic. The only measures that will be maintained are the isolation of those who test positive for the virus and the mandatory wearing of masks on public transport and in health care facilities. The aim is to protect vulnerable people until the end of March 2022. The situation will then return to normal.
