HISTORY OF THYON 2000
Created in the 1970s, the Thyon 2000 complex is linked to the legendary Piste de l'Ours. The latter was built in 1969 in anticipation of the 1976 Winter Olympics in Sion.
The unique architecture and location of Thyon 2000 reflected the spirit of the time.

The Thyon 2000 complex is located at the heart the ski slopes of the Thyon/4 Valleys ski area at an altitude of 2100 metres. Everything is laid out to save holidaymakers from driving during their stay. What's more, the exceptional location of the complex provides a 360-degree view of the Rhone Valley and Val d'Hérens.

Lodgings for over 7000 people are available in the various buildings. A paved road from Les Collons allows cars and other vehicles to access the complex throughout the year. Skiers and mountain sports enthusiasts can easily access the slopes and hiking routes of the resort.
Where can I park in Thyon 2000? Car parks with several hundred spaces are located to the north and south of the complex.
