This year will see the 36th edition of the BCVS Grand-Raid and the 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.
The Grand Raid BCVS is a legendary mountain bike race and one of Europe's most important high-mountain races.
The marathon starts in Verbier, in the Val de Bagnes. The finish, after more than 125 km and over 5000 m of ascent, is in the village of Grimentz, in the Val d'Anniviers. There are 4 routes to choose from: Verbier (125km), Nendaz (93km), Hérémence (68km), Evolène (37km).
For this year's 35th edition, the race will pass through Les Collons on August 24. It will be possible to watch the runners pass by, where a refreshment station will be organized by Thyon Région Tourisme, in charge of the area.
