Come and enjoy a magnificent sunrise hike in Thyon with our guide Xavier Marty (www.martymcfly.ch).
Meet at dawn in front of the Tourist Office in Les Collons for a night-time departure, the first stage of which will be rewarded with a sunrise breakfast and a majestic panorama. We'll continue with the rest of the hike.
4h30 of actual walking, i.e. 12 km with 940m of D+ and 550 of D-.
A total duration of 6h30 including the break at the hut, the entertainment and the chairlift descent.
Approximate return to the Office at 10:30 a.m.
Difficulty :
For good walkers - Alpine T3 good physical condition
Programme :
Meet at 4 a.m. in front of the Tourist Office in Les Collons for an evening departure in the direction of the Essertze hut. The first stage lasts around 2 hours and is rewarded by a sunrise breakfast overlooking the majestic panorama of the Imperial Crown. We'll continue our hike towards the ridges to reach the top of the ski area and take the chairlift back down to our starting point.
Specific equipment :
- Good hiking boots
- Suitable jacket and clothing (cold nights at 2000 meters, even in summer)
- Sufficient water
- Charged headlamp
- Charged cell phone
- Event. Sticks
