October Break in Thyon
From October 19 to 25, 2026, children ages 5 to 12 are invited to enjoy a week of adventures in Thyon! Hikes, explorations, puzzles, and creative activities await them in an autumnal atmosphere.
Program:
Monday, October 19 – Discovering Dragonflies
From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., set out to discover dragonflies with Sarah Lathion! A fun walk to learn about their life cycle and their amazing “superpowers,” followed by a small craft project using natural materials.
Meeting point: Igloo 1850
What to bring: a small backpack with a water bottle, as well as sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Tuesday, October 20 – Challenge with Xavier
From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the kids will set off on an adventure with Xavier. They’ll need to observe nature, navigate, and solve various puzzles to find the right path.
Meeting place: Les Collons Tourist Office
What to bring: a small backpack with a water bottle, as well as sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Wednesday, October 21 – Treasure Hunt
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., participants will tackle various challenges as a team and piece together a map to find the hidden treasure chest.

Thursday, October 22 – Bird Watching
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., set off on an adventure in the forest with Stéphanie Pott for a morning of games, bird watching, and crafts centered around the birds of our mountains.

Friday, October 23 – Halloween Crafts
From 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, kids will let their creativity run wild as they make and decorate their own glowing lanterns.

Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25 – Didaludic Trail
Set out to explore the Didaludic Trail with your family and enjoy a fun-filled walk in the heart of nature.
Meeting point: Les Collons Tourist Office
Throughout the weekend, families can explore the Didaludic Trail at their own pace in search of elves. Using a questionnaire available at the Tourist Office, they’ll observe the installations and answer various questions about nature.
Two children will be selected at random from among the participants and will receive a gift sent to their home.
Prices and Registration
CHF 25.– per activity or CHF 99.– for all five half-days. A 30% discount is offered on the week-long pass for the second child with the code “2ENFANTS.”
Registration is required for activities Monday through Friday. Space is limited.
